The Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) programme is designed in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the world’s largest Chartered HR and development body, for aspiring managers and professionals with the ambition to become strategic leaders and human resource managers.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

  • A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, or equivalent from a recognized institution of higher education, as accepted by the University’s Senate
    OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree with CGPA below 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualifications can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in relevant field
    OR
  • A holder of a pass degree or equivalent, from a recognised institution of higher education with at least five years’ relevant work experience.
    OR
  • Any other equivalent professional qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

English Language Requirements

  • SPM with B3 or B+; or ‘O’ Level with minimum grade C, or equivalent. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies in Malaysia, where the medium of instruction is English, would have met the language requirements.
  • Applicants whose medium of instruction for their first degree was not English will be required to provide evidence of language ability, normally in the form of a minimum TOEFL (600 paper/CBE 250/iB 100) or IELTS (6.5) score.
