Bachelor of Science (Honours) Actuarial Sciences
Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) / Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM):
- Pass STPM with two full passes in 2 subjects and with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level
- Pass STAM with a minimum Jayyid Rank in 2 subjects and with a credit in Mathematics at the SPM level
General Certificate of Education Advanced (”A”) Level:
- Pass A-Level/New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC) with passes in 2 subjects
Diploma:
- Pass Diploma in a related field of study with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process
- Pass Diploma in any other field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and with a credit in Mathematics at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia SPM (or equivalent) level
Matriculation / Foundation:
- Pass QIU foundation in Business/Science Programmes with CGPA ≥ 2.0; OR
- Pass South Australian Matriculation Programme (SAM)/ Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT)/ University of New South Wales (UNSW) Foundation/ Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)/ Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP)/ Canadian Pre-University (CPU); OR
- Pass Matriculation/ Foundation/ Asasi from any IPTA/ IPTS/ Institution that is allowed to offer a pre-university programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC):
- Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics
Other Qualifications:
- Pass International Baccalaureate with average grade point ≥ 2.0 based on three advanced level subjects. A minimum total point is 20, excluding bonus points
- Other qualifications will be assessed based on Senate’s recommendation and referred to MQA for approval on a case by case
basis.
