If you have interest in designs and are sensitive to the quality of the outdoor environment, you are suited for this programme. In addition to that, good drawing skills are also essential. Dealing with the outdoor space, you have to be creative, innovative, sensitive and effective as you do not only create spaces that are pleasant to the eye but also an environment that is safe and sustainable.
What will I learn?
This is a design based programme so students will be exposed to design projects in various fields including residential, parks, recreational design, community design, urban design, ecological, conservation and others. The learning process involves design studio, site visits, hand drawing, computer programmes and creating models.
What should I expect?
Students will be engaged with academic experts and industry practitioners by accessing their design projects throughout the semesters. This programme requires students to undergo internships to expose them to various fields and as a preparation for becoming Landscape Architects in the future.
